Sarah C. Williams is finishing her B.S. in Electrical Engineering this December at the University of North Florida in Jacksonville, Florida (GO OSPREYS!!!). She is currently working as a Quality Engineer Intern at Medtronic, and has also held internships at Unison Industries. In SWE FY08 and FY09, she was the UNF Section Media Representative (similar to a membership chair). In FY10, she was UNF Section President and also was a member of the Region D Programming Excellence Committee. She is very excited to work with the lovely Region D Divas in FY11 as a Regional Collegiate Representative.
Sarah loves supporting the SWE mission and her SWE sisters. Through her SWE involvement, Sarah feels she has learned how to be an effective professional, communicator, and leader. This year, she has a personal goal to practice the art of networking. As part of her goal, she is trying to give out all 250 of her SWE business cards – so feel free to take one or two when you see her! (And let her know if you have any goals she can help with!)
In her spare time, Sarah enjoys cooking, reading, going to the beach, seeing concerts, traveling, visiting local art fairs, and spending time with her husband, Dustin, and cat, Newton. She’s a big fan of Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy and is also a season ticket holder for the Jacksonville Jaguars.
